New Years Day walk

It rained today so mommy didn't bring her camera.

Here's some pictures of our New Years Day walk.

It was very warm - 50 degrees. This made for alittle bit of fog on our frozen creek.

Beautiful new bridge on this walk.

Daddy and I wondering where mommy is.

Taking a peek.

This is one LONNNNNNGGGGG bridge.

A little snow, just to make it interesting and slippery for mommy. She needs paws for this kind of walk.

  4. Looking at your dog reminds me of a dog I used to have named Sparky who was part Airedale. She was such a sweet dog. I got her from the Humane Society, and she had been abused, but she learned to trust me in time. Unfortunately she got hit by a car. It was a hard time for me, and I still miss her.

  5. Hi Jul,

I've been reading your comments on my blog. Sounds like we do have a lot in common. I just want to know, how do you motivate yourself to get outside in the freezing cold weather? I'm so tired of it already.

You are right about spending time with my nieces as much as possible. I've been around kids enough to know that when they get older, they don't really want anything to do with adults!

Seeing your posts sure make me miss my airedale. This Welsh we just got is pushing his luck with me. He's cute and sweet, but he's got some issues. We do cage him and the smaller dog because they have torn stuff up, peed on stuff when we weren't around, etc. The smaller dog finally made an overnight turn around on his attitude and is very well behaved. The welsh not so much. I'm thought about contacting "Victoria" the dog lady on Animal Planet and seeing what she has to say!

Take care and hug Violet for me.

  6. Oops - When I said cage him, I mean when we are gone. Which isn't much. I don't have a full-time job, and the job I have left is watching two boys who love the dogs. So I'm home a lot.
